He quietly had a good year.  He tripled his production from 2018 (tackles) in limited playing time.  Had to play inside a lot more than he was used to.

His numbers (minus the 5 sacks) were akin to McCoy's (total tackles).  McCoy was on the field for 63% of the snaps, Obada was on the field 28% of the snaps.

A great rotational piece. Nothing flashy, just solid when he’s in. Plus it’s not like he’s getting a 5-10 million one year(I hope).

Can someone explain the logic behind making roster decisions without a HC in place? It’s like Tepper is saying you deal with who I want on the team. Pretty much bass ackwards

Nothing about this is binding. It doesn't guarantee him a roster spot.

More moves the incoming HC will be forced to accept.

This is all backwards.  Dont get me wrong, I like Efe.  We just shouldn't be making roster moves with no coaching staff.

One year dude.

Assuming we go back to a 4-3 defense

This is our current D-line situation:

DT Kawann Short

DT Woodrow Hamilton

DT Dontari Poe (Poe's $9 million option probably won't be picked up, making him an UFA)

DE Brian Burns

DE Efe Obada

DE Marquis Hayes

DE Christian Miller

Those ends are a bit light in the loafers---but so was Addison at one time.  And our DT situation is sad right now.
