Is there a single player on our roster right now who is a unanimous keeper?

Any players on the roster that you think everyone would say yes we 100% need to keep him through the rebuild as a core player? I honestly don’t think there is... Our best younger players all have some question marks.

Of course everyone will agree McC is a once in a lifetime player, but there are legitimate concerns from some about paying a RB what it’ll take to keep him, and to some degree they could be warranted.

After that you have guys like Moore, Burns, Bradberry, Moton, Shaq.... All solid players in many ways but not really guys that if we let go of we would definitely regret it. The roster is kinda solid in ways but also has no true 100% locked in core players. Thoughts?

I don’t know if there is a weird controversy over DJ Moore but there absolutely shouldn’t be. Dude is a star in the making

I suspect this is true.  My test for that is imagining DJ Moore on our team in 2015.  I mean . . . dude would have been pre-insanity Antonio Brown mentions at that point.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
