Hill and Bridgewater's value is inflated by Payton and a top notch Oline. They are both fools gold. I'm ready to move on from Cam but not if it's TB at around the same price. That's crazy talk.

They let Bridgewater walk.  Hill is Brees' heir apparent.  Neither wants to be the others backup.  I bet Hill is retained with the promise the starting job is his to earn once Brees is officially out of the picture.

No. Cam is a superior QB and football player. If he’s healthy you stick with him. To trade him just  to initiate a rebuild and sign a wanna be Drew Candyass with legs in Bridgewater would be Tepper actually listening to the media and being influenced by outside sources. If Cam looks good in March then he deserves one last go with the team and the fans want to see it too. Him getting rid of Cam to get a lesser player is stupid as hell in FA or draft. It’ll bite him in the ass with the fans and in the W/L column.

it is just you. Havent you heard. He is now a franchise QB.
So not just a starter, but a NFL franchise quarterback.
And those can play into their 40's.
Man needs to get paid or there are 10+ teams that will be willing to get a franchise QB.

He should get 30+ million per year and minimum 4 year deal since he is such a proven franchise QB........

He ain't gonna become a franchise QB until given the opportunity.

He'll sign a 1-year, 10 mil deal & Brees will sign a 2-year, 60 mil deal ($35 guaranteed) to help him prove his worth. Split the snaps 70:30 with Brees next year.

Bridewater goes FA. Will he sign with us?  We shall see.

100% agree. If we are moving on from Cam get me a 1st round rookie QB. There’s several this year and next year that have huge upside. Way more than Teddy and Taysom. I don’t want a stop gap. If we move on from Cam then suck this year and get a true replacement and build the rest of the team with all the comp picks we’ll get this year and the high picks this year and next and all the cap space a rookie QB gets you. Don’t half ass it and leave us in 6-10, 11-5, 7-9 and 5-11 land where we can’t get a Tua (or Burrow if you like him), Lawrence or Fields.

Taysom Hill is going to be 30 before the season starts. He must have gone on a mission but damn, he was a 27 year old rookie. No wonder why he’s banging the drum. He needs a pay day. After taxes he’s only made about $1M in 3 years. Yes, I know but really, for the ball sucking the media does of him he’s looking for an actual pay day.
