I think Jordan Gross said it best, if you can’t contribute to the 5 year plan, (paraphrasing )you’re likely out. Of course he was referring to players with expendable contracts on the roster but that would likely also apply to any free agents.

I can not see Norman fitting in with the present or future plans of the Panthers, considering his fall off in production,age,attitude and the salary he would probably want.

Bradberry turns 27 before the season starts, Norman is 32 and will be 33 by season's end.  One could survive a rebuild and still contribute on the back side of it.  The other, not so much and has already hit his ceiling several seasons ago.

Norman was great for us in 2015.  But, it is not 2015 anymore.  He has not been nearly the same cornerback since.

I think there is a myth that Norman went to complete poo as soon as he signed with the Redskins. That’s not really true. His first year there was elite. #1 in passes defended, #3 in yards per target, #1 in turnovers per target. He was playing with a hand injury. He dropped like 10 easy picks that year.
