City council voting to shut down Charleston tonight. I'm sure Hanahan, Goose Creek, Summerville, etc. will follow.

I guess if Trump and the other republican law makers won’t take this seriously then it’s up to local government

Just found out that my wife may have been exposed to it.  Just found out some idiot that my wife works with came to work today despite already knowing that her husband was on his way to be tested for it.   Hard to imagine that someone would be that stupid.

I’m not surprised by this. Hope your wife is good. Typical ignorant, entitled American attitude From your wife’s coworker.

Yep, the root cause of the big outbreak in the Colorado ski resort towns was traced back to a group of Australian tourists who tested positive here and were ordered to isolate themselves while efforts were made to get them back home. Instead of following that order, they instead went skiing and bar hopping as previously planned.

Honestly, people like that should be facing criminal charges. How is it not reckless endangerment?

Agree we need to hold these people accountable. I don’t know what the punishment is but I believe if you know you have HIV/AIDS and have sex with some without telling that person it’s a felony and punishable by jail time.

I have an essential job in communications.  I am in peoples homes everyday.  I think people in these types of jobs who are clearly putting themselves at risk , should receive compensation.  Hazard pay if you will.

I do maintenance at a retirement home. Before I do a work order, I call the resident and explain that I'm coming over, I'm going to knock and come in and announce myself, and fix the problem. For both of our protection, they have to stay 10 feet away.

Apparently, that translates to "Be standing by the door when I get there".

They are so starved for attention, I assume they are getting zero contact these days.

My girlfriend’s job let the higher ups work from home but insisted they were essential. Their entire company has been set up to telework long before this all happened. Her co worker came in contact with a person who she had to visit as a part of her work. Now she is infected along with part of the office. And oh look, after this the company decided to let everyone telework not just the company favorites. Talk about reactive and not being proactive. The governor said no more than ten people yet her office has 50 with hundreds walking in and out.

If she came down with the virus and then affected me you can bet your ass I’ll be taking to legal counsel when this is all over. Without going into the nature and details of the job I can tell you this is the definition of negligence.

It’s reasons like this the quarantine won’t work for Americans. People don’t listen some don’t have a choice because companies won’t listen. And the. There’s unemployment for people who can’t work from him. Just a big mess.

A coworker of mine has a sister in NY.  Sister works in a nursing care facility.  She is receiving hazard pay.

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
