Chargers using Cowherd to say "no" to Newton?

If you look into 2021 free agents the chargers have Bosa, Hunter,  Mevlin Ingram, K.Allen, Pouncey, Mike Williams, King,Lamp, And about 20 others...... THATS A TON OF prime FAs. Plus no QB either.

The smartest thing for that is draft a QB, cause that is about the only way to sign a few of those FAs.

Cam doesnt fit, unless he plays for around 8 million.

Get that rookie QB contract and say no to Cam is best thing for the Chargers.

FYI, pats have about 3 million in cap space with no WRs and a D that lost some talent. Cam needs to do some soul searching and may sit out a year.

If they think they will have to trade up to get a top 3 QB, they may take Cam and then draft a QB later?

I dunno.  Watch the Chargers play around with Cam and the Pats swoop in to sign him.

The Patriots' silence is deafening.

For signing now or soon?  Yes, I think the Chargers are the only option.

However, I don’t think they sign him.  I think the most likely scenario is for him to get signed Somewhere in training camp or preseason....if someone gets hurt or someone’s option looks bad.

i also think that scenario gives can the most leverage

Agreed 100%.

The QB picture needs to change somewhere for Cam to get a legit opportunity -- and it will.

Patience is Cam's best friend at this point...just keep working and getting stronger.

Cowherd has always been a biased scumbag in regards to Newton. Pretty sure Cam impregnated his wife behind his back.

No one in their right mind takes Taylor over Cam.

Is Taylor healthy  ?

This just  adds more smoke to the "Cam ain't healthy" fire..because you are correct no one in his right mind takes Taylor

over Cam...

He was referring to post-2015, so comparisons to his mvp year are pointless.  Gotta admit the W-L and passing statistics threw me through a loop.  Numbers don't lie there.

post-2015 Cam has been twice the player that Tyrod has ever been. Cam had a better year passing in 2018 than Tyrod has had in his career.

I pointed that out early in the cam discussion and had every excuse imaginable thrown back at me.  At some point the numbers are the numbers.  We are going to be fine without cam.

I’m pretty sure Cam has impregnated many wives, behind many backs.

lol I laughed so hard reading the part "The gap between the two is tiny." Like what? When did Tyrod play in a SB and become an MVP? Oh wait, because he didn't the gap must be tiny. That's like saying the gap between NY and London is tiny. xD

We're talking about 2020's editions of each, not 2015's. Cam definitely still has more upside, but it's less clear these days.

this dolt is doing the exact same thing today but with the Patriots, saying they'd be making a huge mistake getting him and they shouldn't want him. he won't be happy until Cam is strung up from a tree by the sound of it.
