Round 6 Pick 184: Carolina Panthers select DT Bravvion Roy

From Draftnetwork:

Baylor defensive tackle Bravvion Roy is a three year starter that got better every season in college where he served as a nose tackle which is where he fits best at the next level. His quickness, urgency, size and power make him a load to deal with when lining up over the center. Unfortunately, Roy doesn’t have ideal length, hand usage, vision or pass rushing upside to profile as more than an early down run stuffer. Roy should find work on early downs but his skill set is incomplete.

While he is a big body that can theoretically eat up space in the middle of a defense, when Baylor’s defensive coordinator let him loose inside, he showed some freakish movement skills.

I'm not going to pretend I knew anything about this guy before the pick but his senior year stats are impressive for a nose tackle, he's clearly got a good relationship with Rhule and he plays a position of need for the team. Seems like odds are good to make the 53 man roster. Probably as much as you can ask for out of a 6th rounder.
