Earthquake?

5.1 for an area that rarely gets anything stronger than 2.5 is fairly newsworthy, even if damage is likely to very minimal.

Weird that there are people who felt it. 8 am on a Sunday? You can’t feel an Earthquake when you are on a boat fishing

The first noticeable earthquake in my lifetime and I’m stuck 3 states away driving between Indianapolis and Ann Arbor Michigan. Always somewhere else when the cool stuff happens.

I haven’t been home since July 5th. Finally going home end of this week. Think they could do the earthquake over again next weekend?

I'm in asheville too, and I thought something under the house might have malfunctioned and shook it up.  I wasn't even smart even to get out of bed, lol.

Also lived in CA and earthquakes were common. But I knew almost immediately this was an earthquake from just having felt so many. Nobody suggested there was damage. Lots of folks I’m know have never felt one.
