It is pretty simple.

Can you hope Cam does well? Yes.  That is fine.

Hypothetically, if NE were 15-0 and playing the Panthers the last game of the season.....who would you want to win? The answer should be the Panthers.

Nah, you know everyone would want us to tank for a better draft spot.

Starting QB and a Team Captain.

This was all expected, though. Can’t wait to see him ball for the patriots. I’ll be watching some of their games, as well.

Wouldn’t say him being Captain was expected. Hell the national media didn’t even think he’d start.

He probably will for a while. If history repeats itself again, though, his shoulder won't hold up an entire season. Time will tell.

If he plays well for the entire year then yes, Tepper will have egg on his face.

I get the feeling that he will have that egg on his face this time next year. Cam is gonna ball out this year and will be an MVP candidate.

I will never understand the Teddy move, it is a lateral move at the very best.

In any case I'm excited for some football, and this draft class. Go panthers !

Is it OK for me to wish him well, kinda wish he was doing well here, but still support Teddy as our man? Is that allowed, or do I have to be militant and either hate him forever or hate the Panthers for letting him go? Just wondering.

You have to hate him now. You can still talk about any other former players though. Its the huddle way

Cam will be a Panther again

This is the equivalent of LeBron going to Miami to 'learn' how to win it all

Cam will be back

Only way he’s back is to sign a one day contract to retire as a Panther

So you believe, even after the commitment comment,  Cam would’ve played here for vet min 1 year and Tepper was like f that let’s pay Teddy 60mil?

Not saying that didn’t happen but man talk about straight up defying logic on all accounts.

Outrageous there are people here saying they pretty much write off the player once they leave the team.

so no wished Delhomme well when he went to Cleveland and Houston? No one cared about the best player in franchise history when he was playing in Chicago or Green Bay? No one wished Steve Smith well when he was cut and went to Baltimore not by choice? I just can’t understand this, but then we will all celebrate them when they return for 1 day contracts or the hall of honor.

really hope that these same people aren’t giving the players poo when they are holding out for more money then. If the fans don’t care about them then who can blame them for looking out for themselves?

as I said, cam put this franchise on the map and brought it to relevance like no other player since 1995. The roaring riot wouldn’t be the roaring riot that it is today without cam. But some of those same fans are done with him now that he is in New England.

if it comes down to panthers patriots I am obviously pulling for the panthers. Unfortunately it won’t come down to that because David Tepper not only thought it was a brilliant idea cutting a franchise quarterback and replacing him with a less talented one, but he also continues to employ Marty Hurney, who for the record never received one interview after being fired by this franchise originally. But other than that scenario I do not for the life of me understand how panther fans aren’t actively cheering for that man to succeed.

Just a thread on Dan Morgan the other day, and he works for another organization.

There aren’t no way in hell cam is coming back while Rhule is coach and Tepper is the owner. So you better find a way to get rid of both of them quick.
