Panthers will "light up the scoreboard today".

I don't doubt the Panthers score some points today. McCaffrey is unguardable. But can the defense force a turnover or two? Can they stop a few drives to give us the edge? Which team will make a mistake? If the Panthers can play mistake free football, we might actually see a close game and maybe even a win.

I am down with this. To me the biggest crack in the offense's armor going into the game would be an Oline that hasn't had time to gell leading to pressure on Teddy that creates turnovers. If the oline holds up against the rush, I do think this offense could put up significant numbers and should be fun to watch.

I think the defense will be better than advertised.  I think we will win 31-30.

The one thing that's likely to carry over from Rivera (at least initially) is we look to be a defense that'll be a lot more threatening up front than on the back end.

I'm hoping Phil Snow changes that giv n time, but right now my expectations are low.

Wow.  Bold proclamation.  I hope we can back it up...  excited about the whole team, but the more I've thought about it, leading up to GameDay, i'm worried about Waller and Ruggs versus our secondary...  but, I think the front 7 can be scary good and hide the secondary until they catch up.

    • Are you saying what we have been watching is the suffering we must go through to get the ring?  How long has that been going on now? Do you feel like if we just continue the dues paying we will be rewarded?     To me this like when you are getting tortured and you finally get to where you are begging someone to just kill you to make it stop hurting.  I’ll take a couple of blowouts a year for and against and the recast .500 ecompetitive football that is at least watchable over what they have given us for the better part of 7 years now.  They have killed my spirit.
    • Talent evaluation issues aren't the fault of the player. All you can ask of the player is to work hard and do everything the coaches ask of him. By all indications he has done that. Same for guys like Clausen and Armanti Edwards. It's not their fault that the organization over drafted them. They put in the work they just weren't good enough.
    • Packers 2023 is Bryce's best full game. And then he followed that up with a colossal stinker against a Jags team without Trevor Lawrence. And that's a window into the conundrum that is Bryce Young and why you cannot and should not read into one game or even a few games. You need to evaluate the body of work.
