Would you trade Curtis Samuel to the 49ers for a DE?

I agree but we have enough young talent with high draft picks that will continue to grow and develop as the season goes on.  At CB we have Jackson who is up and down and other than that.....no one.

We have a draft pick there too. We are building and playing young players. Trading is pointless.

I know but I’m saying hypothetically. *If we were trading Samuel I would rather it be for a CB. Our draft pick was in the 4th round and he’s starting. That’s how bad our CB depth is which is why I would trade for a cb over a DE

49ers are desperate for a WR after losing Deebo Samuel. Panthers are desperate for a DE that can stop the run.

Potential trading partner?

Gettleman come on down!! At this point I’d take a 4th round pick, the guy reminds me of a really fast Philly Brown, Even the T Rex arms....

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
