Yea I’m usually pretty negative but if the Chargers are playing a rookie, they’ll get a sack probably from Burns.

We were what, 2nd in the NFL in sacks last year? Ouch.  I mean, we couldn't stop a run to save our lives but damn, at least we could hit your QB.

A lot of that though was us dialing up a ton of blitzes and pressure, then getting burned because of it. Not sure why but Snow hasn't sent much extra pressure at all so far this year. Not very aggressive, maybe still just feeling out the NFL game or he's scared for our secondary getting burned if we blitz and the pressure still doesn't get there (likely).

Yep we blitzed a ton last year and if we got there we got a sack and if we didn’t it was 20-50 yards.

We were tied with the Seahawks for 18th at 26.9% in blitz percentage, so pretty much league average. The Ravens led the league with 54.9%.

We're 18th on the NFL currently at 23.3% this year. So slightly less, but not dramatically so.

Yeah, it’s just more dangerous when we do it because our secondary was and is so bad.

I didn't really think we blitzed that much last year, but I did think our dlinemen were so focused on the pass that they sometimes forgot about or ignored the run.  Hard thing to prove, but it certainly seemed that way at times.

Oh, I agree with you. There were some vets on short term contracts looking to pad that sack figure IMO.
