Nothing like KB in 2015.  This is a team that is still finding itself and the offense.  There are a few plays Davis makes CMC might not, but quite a few more CMC breaks off I think.  Davis is an excellent 2nd back to have, but CMC is more than just a RB.

One player does not decide a win or a loss. The NFL the ultimate team sport and we are absolutely a better team with CMC in the lineup. Like I said in the other thread, we are also 2-0 without Okung but I don’t want to see Little starting the rest of the season. Davis is playing great and now we have two very good options at RB and can get even more creative with both of them on the field at the same time when CMC returns.

Whole team starting to gel is more likely the reason. Huge turnover of players and staff combined with the weird offseason paired with the unfortunate training camp sitiation and the first game might as well been a presason one. We are starting to gel and see what we have when CMC comes back we will be deadly on O.

Lol no defense is adjusting and accounting for Davis, he does not provide mismatch opportunities and games 3-4 probably going to look different than 1-2...cmc is a 1k/1k player...

i mean it’s just a basic understanding of football for even the most casual fan, it’s not the same, how is this not understood

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
