Crow plate - Teddy, Rhule, this team

I honestly think Rhule was the main reason for the exit. All new coaches want the locker-room, power, and be the leader at first. Rhule could not accomplish this with Cam in control. Then when Cam came back with the poo-post of "I just want a little commitment", Rhule was moving on.

Tepper started dropping hints that he wasn't married to Cam as soon as he put ink to paper. I don't think he ever had plans to keep Cam long-term.

No argument.

He gave lip service to it leading into the offseason (so did Rhule) and I do believe if the coaching staff had been on board, he could have ridden with it.

And to be clear, by "it" I mean Newton playing out his final year. I don't think any sort of extension was ever in the cards.

But the coaching staff, Brady in particular, was willing to move on, so here we are. And boy, did that lip service wind up pissing off the fans when they saw what was really happening.

As a post script, given how things played out I can't help wondering if Eric Bieniemy hurt his chances of getting the HC job by talking about how much he wanted to work with Cam.

Even if they just move him to different spot where he can be given a title like Meatball Manager or something.

You may not be aware but this has already happened.

He's now a combo scout & public relations manager -- don't let the GM title distract or fool you.

Dude was a broken record

Or did he make us realize records are made to be broken?  By saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?
