A while ago some posters here started saying a 20 yard pass does not constitute a deep pass anymore. They'll find a way to hate and if it ain't real they'll make it up.

Cam has spoiled some Panthers fans.  The kind of throws Cam could make just aren't common or a requirement in the kind of offense we have.  Teddy is executing the offense well.  I think that will only improve with time, too.

But according to average depth of throw he's the worst QB in the league last year playing for the Saints, and going 5-0.

Also, I have a suspicion that Patrick Mahomes guy is a bad QB because his average depth of throw was low too.

He has not had many really deep throws for sure. However the zip he has on the intermediate throws has been perfectly impressive.

At least he isn't a well drink QB. He's looking like a solid second tier QB at this point. Which is good enough for me.
