Not going to lie.  I liked McCarthy as a Coaching candidate if we didn't get Rhule.  And there were rumors that we were looking into him.

I'm so glad tepper didn't fall for the McCarthy hype. It's bad enough we can't get rid of Hurney.. Those two together would have been a disaster

That team very obviously quit on that staff last night. McCarthy and crew are done in Dallas whether they actually get fired or not. Not surprised at all that this type of stuff is coming out.

Aaron Rodgers has a strong back for carrying that hack all those years.

Their defense is terribad though. Like worst I've ever seen in the NFL terrible. They were expecting to legitimately compete, not rebuild. McCarthy was hired to get that team over the hump. Right now it looks like he's driving it off the cliff and it looked like that prior to Dak getting hurt.

They just got wrecked by the Cardinals 

And Dalton was seen by some as similar to Teddy Bridgewater (a bridge starter level QB/stud backup)

Yeah, in the Cowboys' previous 4 games they'd scored 40, 38, 38, and 37 points and still went 1-3. That's incredible. We saw what happens last night when you remove that legit franchise QB from the equation. The D is still all-time bad and without being able to put up big scores they just get flat out waxed.

Rhule probably wasn't my first choice, but McCarthy would likely have been my last choice.

The fact that Rodgers only have one Super Bowl boils down to McCarthy. It's criminal he doesn't have a handful of rings. Dallas is realizing what Green Bay fans saw years ago.
