Get a big red zone target and this offense could be really good

I’m still holding out hope that Robbie has already shown in our offense he is more than just a deep threat and that with more time in the system he will find out he has the size to be a viable red zone threat as well and be that guy. If not I’m a huge fan of Kyle Pitts in this draft.

I'm still holding out hope for something as well. That Trey Lance falls. That's what I'm holding out hope for.

The difference is Wilson and Carr are hitting those numbers while also throwing a lot of deep passes.

Guys who can throw deep with that kind of accuracy are much bigger threats than Teddy.

Carr isn’t ...his Average Intended Air Yards per throw is 0.2 higher than Teddy.

Russell is having an incredible season, but he also has the league’s lowest aggressiveness percentage. That tells me that his receivers do a pretty dang good job of getting open too. That offense is firing on all cylinders.

Carr and Bridgewater have identical air yards per pass at 5.3. The intended air yards stats are 7.1 for Carr and 6.9 or Bridgewater.

Bridewaters longest completed air yards pass is longer than Carr's as well.

Stats don't agree with the Carr statement. Next Gen Stats are a good source of what's going on in this department.

Slightly misleading stat.. look at the TD/INT ratio and it tells a different story. You’d think Teddy would be way above 2:1 but it’s not even close

I take it you haven’t seen my other posts about Teddy? I’ve probably lead the charge more than anyone here about Teddys bad TD to INT ratio. I saw a Tweet about Teddy and I shared it. If I see something that hasn’t been shared here, I share it.

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Broncos part ways with a CB on the roster bubble Broncos get: 2026 seventh-round pick Panthers get: CB Damarri Mathis The Broncos have a rare problem among NFL teams: too many cornerbacks. ESPN's Jeff Legwold projects they could move on from Mathis, who was very good as a rookie in 2022 before losing his starting job after the defense's slow start in 2023. He played just 27 defensive snaps after Week 6 that season and 80 more across 10 games in 2024. With the Broncos using their 2025 first-round pick on cornerback Jahdae Barron, they could justify moving on from Mathis, who might not be active on game days even if he sticks around. Mathis' best season came with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero in Denver, and he hasn't been able to reach those same heights since Evero left for Carolina. The Panthers are set with Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade as their three starting corners, but Mathis could push the 28-year-old Jackson and serve as Carolina's primary reserve on the outside. Mathis is owed $3.4 million in 2025, so Denver might essentially buy a draft pick by eating some of that cash, similar to what the Commanders did when they sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
    • They can get fuged for a 6th and 7th. Doesn't make sense for us for anything less than a 4th and them paying a majority of his salary.
