Why are so many people so mad?

Stop being dumb. Cam was the best QB to ever put on a Carolina panther jersey. To say he would never player a more consistent game than teddy today is so dumb it’s not worth the energy responding to. His game against Seattle this year was better than any game teddy had this year. So no idea what you’re talking about.

Cam looked really bad today. Ended up getting benched. I'm going to trust Belichick on this. It looks like it was a really good call to move on from Cam this year.

When we got all this hype after winning 3 games I figured we would start loosing. Idk why but the panthers always suck when they are predicted to win or the media praises them.

I think we have a young team that has lots of potential but we still have a few years to go before we will be a playoff team. We just have too many holes and too many young players. We also have a lot of bad contracts we need to get rid of. I’m pretty sure we are still paying for guys like Luke and other players who we cut or retired. It will take a year or two for that to go away.

We are competing with better football teams every week despite being at a significant talent deficit. Everyone expected us to have one of the worst if not the worst defense in the league. We're actually slightly above average on D. Who would have expected us to hardly be missing a step on offense despite missing CMC multiple weeks?

We should be getting smoked yet we're in every game. This staff is doing a helluva job. If you were expecting a winning season, that's on you. They tried to tell you they were looking at a five year plan and weren't looking for quick fixes. As far as I'm concerned the rebuild is ahead of schedule.

Completely agree. The future looks bright. The vets are actually not playing as well as some of the young guns.

This was a winnable game and the defensive coaching staff should take the blame for this.

Zone Defense?  All day?  12-14 on 3rd down?  Against arguably the greatest QB ever to play.   Brees picked us apart like a surgeon.

I love the pieces we have and soon we'll be contending EVERY year but 12-14 on 3rd down was hard to watch.

The 3rd down defense was certainly one of the lowlights of today's game, but all in all giving up 415 yards and 27 points to the Saints is inline with expectations. That's 37 yards more than their average, but also 3.6 points fewer than their average. I'd rather come out ahead of the pack on the points than the yards. Once again, our defense got the late stop to give our offense the chance to play hero and they failed to deliver.

This to me is exactly the point.  Our defense, for all it's flaws (and there are many), held the Saints in the Dome under their season scoring average.  They gave us a chance to win at the end.  No, we didn't finish the job on offense.  100%, we CANNOT take that sack.

We are simply going through the growing pains that a young, rebuilding team should expect to experience with a new coaching staff.  We're playing hard.  We went to the Dome and were a far cry from getting blown out.  This is a gritty team, and with more talent and time to mature, we have an exciting future ahead.

I’m sorry did I miss something overnight. Did someone supplant cam as the best QB in franchise history.

what does that have to do with anything?  he sucks right now.  your takes aren't aging well because he got benched overnight and you look like an idiot
