We didn't draft a Baylor player until the 6th round. Everyone had us drafting James Lynch, even as early as the 2nd round. He went in the late 4th after we'd already made 4 draft selections. We picked Troy Pride Jr. over James Lynch.

How much of that was Hurney though.

i like trask. looks like he could run our O pretty good. However I don't watch much college ball. I don't even know who wilson is right now.

BYU QB; I think he's lighting it up but the level of competition is questionable. I don't watch college football either, just go off of what I read... Lots of chatter out there about him being a potential top 5-10 pick, so I guess he's playing really well.

Trask is currently outpacing both Tua and Burrow from last year. He’s at another level now.

Level of competition didn’t stop Big Ben from balling in the NFL.

Im of this opinion as well. I see us going QB in 2022 maybe even 2023 if everything keeps going like it is.

I mean Teddy for three years might actually be the plan and they might just be trying to build up the entire roster for the next guy. That could come this year but next year seems likely and yes, it seems like they could be looking at Howell

If it’s a three years of building plan I think they miss out on Howell. I do believe this is going to be our worst record season for the next few years so this is our best shot at a top end QB.

He's absolutely having an unbelievable season, I just don't see elite NFL traits. Average at best arm. Below average athlete. I think he's basically a better version of Brandon Weedon but we'll see.

I'd give anything for Howell. Big arm, great deep thrower, good decision maker, accurate, decent throwing on the move, and absolutely cold blooded. That defense puts him in awful situation after awful situation and he gives them a chance every week.

I don’t see elite athletic traits either. But he has the arm strength to throw 15 yard outs and hit people deep. He isn’t going to run much but he’s completing 68% of his passes in his career in the SEC. Almost 600 passes. What was the elite traits Tua had? Burrow didn’t have elite traits either. Brady, Brees, Ryan didn’t have any elite traits either. People hate division rivals but a 15 year run of Brees here or Matt Ryan would have established a new precedent for what is good in Carolina. This franchise has been plagued by when a QB is good they aren’t good for too long.
