without much help?? Are you fuging kidding me? Bridgewater has more weapons than we've had in the past decade on offense. He's already shown what type of QB he is. There's nothing left for him to prove. GTFO here with this crap.

We've also had much worse olines over the past 10 years than this year. If you compare them, this line is probably one of the better ones we've had this past decade. Which isn't saying much, but still. Teddy has had many opportunities to make bigger and better plays and just hasn't. It's not the line's fault.

Oh Lord, no.

Taylor Moton is the only guy you can consistently count on. The rest are mediocre at best, terrible in some cases or only good "when healthy".

Still riding this train huh? Yeah, ratings say the O-Line is a top 10 O-Line. Shrugs. It is a better O-Line than last years. That’s for sure.

re-read what I said. "Among one of the better ones" we've had. There are a few better lines we've had since 2011, but they aren't one of the worst lines we've had. Like I said, there's multiple times per game Teddy has time to make something happen but just hasn't. Every week people point how many many times he's missed wide open receivers.

He's rode that wave that this line is ass all season. Even though statistics, and well everything else says otherwise.

I mean this team probably has the best wide receiver core in the league, and Mike Davis hasn't been a slouch (I mean if they used him more and correctly as well).     He has weapons even without CMC and the receivers have all done really despite the defense ready for the slants over and over.

Do we finally appreciate what Cam did with what he had?

It really amazes me how fast we went from, "we're a 2 win team this year" to "Bridgewater is the reason we are losing."  It was faster than a Corvette with hyperdrive.

To be fair, I thought 2 wins tops even with Bridegewater. But, Bridgewater is the clear problem. That and the personnel issues on defense.

GTFO. The Panthers owe him nothing more than the guaranteed money in his contract. He's playing with the best trio of WRs this franchise has ever fielded. The OL isn't great but it isn't terrible either. Pretty middle of the road. Ian Thomas sucks and Davis is an average RB. Still, put a legit franchise QB at the helm and we're scoring points and not just against prevent D.

When the games started, it turns out the team was better than most of us expected. Teddy turned out to be worse for a lot of people who had deluded themselves into thinking he was better than what he'd ever shown in the past but for me he's pretty much exactly what I expected.

You can give him all he needs and he's still going to perform the same.  We have some of the fastest WRs in the league and should be stretching the field every game.  Bridgewater can't make the deep throws.

It's like the last offensive play.  He dumped it down to a receiver underneath instead of going for a first with 2 receivers open.  The issue is he can't make those throws consistently.

He's playing scared.

The excuses are ridiculous at this point. He’s a nice guy, but I’d rather have an asshole like Rodgers who has 1 WR and makes it work. How many times when we need a big play or first down do we see pictures of a wide open WR?

We have one of the best threesome of WRs in the league. Moore and Anderson are both a very solid top two and Samuel has been lights out this year as WR3. I’d argue it’s our more talented top 3 ever. They get separation and are open all the time. They get great YAC and yet they are somehow not enough? I don’t think Brady is polished enough yet and I know Teddy would much rather audible to a run, but Brady is scheming guys open and Teddy isn’t getting it to the wide open guys past the sticks.

Sure, CMC would be nice, but Davis has done admirably and some folks in here wanted us to trade CMC. All CMC would do is turn Teddy’s favorite, the check down, into more of a weapon.

All I know is that it would have been fun to watch a healthy Cam with these WRs.

    • Nope, that’s not the disconnect. In 2022, our GM knew he was going QB in the 2023 draft. You are talking about risking fans involvement on a team that’s been basically bottom 3 in the NFL from 2018 to now. There is no risk when you are that bad. We were right to want Fitterer to tank in 2022 and get rid of anyone who could bring us big value and extra cap room for future years when we aren’t winning 2-7 wins a year. We knew we wanted a rookie QB so we didn’t trade assets for picks and get a better draft slot so we ended up only getting a 2nd for Burns and threw in DJ Moore plus an early 2nd instead of a 1st, which basically lost us an early 2nd. The “risk” to our franchise’s losing culture ended up being around 4 1sts of total value. Yep, I refuse to listen to the other perspective that lost us around 4 1sts of value. At least our fan involvement is so high that our stadium isn’t chock full of visiting fans since we’ve won so much since 2022. Again, you won’t change my mind that we should have tanked in 2022 and had another 2-4 Browns/Horns on this team.
