Lawrence is worth it

Honestly, I am not super impressed by any of the quarterbacks other than Lawrence. I'm not saying they won't be probowlers, champions, or heck they may even hall of famers, but I think the QB with the single highest probability of success is T. Lawrence. This man is just something else. I personally would be happy if we gave up 2 first and a second for him. I think he's THAT good. I actually think our team is solidly built. We have young stars on defense, good WRs, and with a little patch work on O-line, I think we could be a competitive team soon. Bridgewater just really sets us back. 

 

Just wanna make an edit why I think this is possible. Sam Darnold actually isn't that bad. If he went to the Bills, he might have had the same success as Allen over there. Jets are missing talent on their team period. They don't necessarily need a new QB. More draft picks would help them tremendously and allow them to build up their team to actually give Darnold a shot. Not even Lawrence could save the talent poo that is the jets right now.

I 100% agree. Don’t think the jets will trade out no matter what but just go get him if you can and figure the rest out later. He’s that good

Trevor Lawrence is amazing, yes.  But we have 0% chance of getting him.  So it isn't worth talking about whatsoever.

He's a jet until he comes out and says otherwise. The dream is that he says he won't play for them and threaten to return to school and hurney pulls of some magic for a trade that will get him to charlotte.

Its amazing to see people believe one QB can lead a team to wins without a average OL and TEs.

 

Ive been meaning to ask the "DRAFT QB" crew to name one , just one QB that had a playoff run without a decent OL.....

Im going to start asking and again they will not answer.

Yep. If he pulls an Eli, I’m calling the Jets immediately to do what I can to get him. He’s the reason why I wanted to sign 0 FAs and let Grier take us to the promised land. Might not have worked since the Jets couldn’t even hold on to beat the Raiders with the game in the bag.

Lawrence with Moore, Samuel, Anderson and CMC would be so much fun to watch. Maybe Trevor will see that.
