No way the Jags give up the chance to draft Lawrence. With that being said I would trade whatever it takes to get him if they were open to it. Cam completely changed our franchise and brought years of excitement to our team. We knew we always had a chance each year with him under center. That’s the impact franchise QBs have on a team and I hope we come out of the draft with one no matter who it may be.

And we still won not poo and didn't have to give up a decades worth of top picks to do it. This is why Huddlers are not GMs

I have never visually witnessed a Panthers fan in my 12+ years of working around Clemson.

Is that an indication of Clemson’s success in the past 12 years or an indictment of the Panthers 3 winning seasons in the past 12 years? Damn it sure does sadden me thinking about 3 winning seasons in 12 years.

They don't care about professional football at all. It was the same in Columbia. It was the same in Rock Hill.

Without Cam Newton we don’t sniff the playoffs or come close to a super bowl (just like we haven’t since.) One could argue that with a halfway competent coach and game plan we would have “still won not poo”.

Also where did “decades worth of top picks” ever come from? Im happy waiting on a QB to drop to us but if the Jags we’re willing to trade out of the number one spot I would absolutely give up next years 1st and 2nd round pick for him along with this years 1st and 2nd. Getting a player like that is worth the risk along with getting them on a rookie contract. I don’t think the Chiefs regret trading for Mahomes and I wouldn’t either.

How did Mike Ditka trading a whole draft for one player work out? Ask the Saints how much it set them back for seasons. Never sell the farm for one player.

If it’s for a generational talent at the most important position on the field you do. Instead of going back that many years and asking Mike Ditka about trading the entire draft for a running back, why not ask Andy Reid if he regrets trading away future picks for Mahomes.

Lawrence looked pretty ordinary last night. Certainly not worth trading the farm to draft. There are a number of QBs who could work out with a good system. I think we can find our guy where we sit. I think we have too many needs to mortgage the future over a guy who may not be the best of his class
