LMAAAAAAAAOOOOOO nice strawman I didn't specify which team. I didn't say which QB. I didn't say when the rookie QB would start. I'm fine with trading with the Phins to get Wilson and let Teddy get blasted for a year. Beyond fine with that.

The likelyhood of all the top flight QBs being gone before 7/8 is extremely minimal. Trading to 3 will be only slightly cheaper. We could trade up to 6 worst case and be fine.

I don't think you know what the word strawman means.

WE POSITIVE FALCONS DONT GO QB????

It’s not positive. I believe if the Falcons have the chance to draft Fields, the local kid, they will. If the Jets grab Fields I think the Falcons pass on Wilson and then you have like four teams that could trade up.

Here is how I look at it:

  • Jax:  Trevor  QB
  • Jets--New coach will not want to keep what got the previous coach fired.  Fields QB
  • Miami: Sewell LT (Give Tua some protection)
  • Atlanta:  Parsons MLB (gotta go Defense)
  • Cincinnat   Smith WR (they could go Rousseau)
  • Eagles Surtain CB
  • Lions Chase WR
  • Panthers QB Wilson or Lance

I get people fretting about not getting Fields or Lawrence, but this whole notion that we can't get a quality QB at #7/#8 is borderline paranoia.

I like a lot of guys on WSH and their kind of a secondary favorite team because my grandfather was a lifelong Washington fan until we got the Panthers, and then he pulled for both...  that being said, although I'd love to see Alex Smith make the playoffs, after what Rivera did to us last week draft-wise, I'm sorry, but I'm gonna need you to do the usual Ron thing for your team and blow it in a meaningful game again so we can get #7.

Idk why, it's one spot, but trading up or hitting on a impact QB at 7 seems a lot more possible than at #8.

Makes sense, however I truly believe the Jets will make some sort of of trade whether it be Darnold or the #2 pick.  I would bet it would be the #2 pick because it would yield a lot more than Darnold. I think that's where we make our push for that future.

The lions will take a QB if someone they like is there. They most likely will be entering the draft without a starting QB on the roster

We have to watch for trade ups though. Denver and SF aren’t far away and will be looking to move up.

I really don’t want to give up draft capital to move up (what if our new sucks and we get a top pick next year), but we’ll prob have to if we want Wilson. Someone will trade with Cinci.

I think Lance will be there at 8.
