too pricy for my blood, that would be something I'd offer for Watson (which Houston should say no to but they might be dumb enough to accept)

I agree--but the "experts" are saying this QB rich draft would be pricey.  With nearly half the league kicking the QB tires...

I am guessing that is what it would take, based on past trades, etc.  People need to know how expensive it is to move up--in an QB-rich draft--$$$$.

Thats too much for 6 spots.  I would rather stick at where we are and see what happens.  Someone always falls.  I think there is absolutely 0% chance that both the Falcons and the Lions both draft qb's.   I am still in the mindset that neither draft one at all.   Detroit and ATL need defensive help and getting a rookie qb doesnt do poo for your organization

Also I think we have to keep our 2nd round pick this year as that is where we will find our LT of the future.    I would love to go qb in the first LT 2nd and then the best center in the 3rd.

Charlie Campbell (best track record of correct picks out of all of media) has all four QB's taken before the Panthers pick (Jets-Wilson, Falcons-Fields, Lions-Lance)

8. NFL Team Logo for Panthers Carolina Panthers: Micah ParsonsLB, Penn State

The Panthers need two cornerbacks, a linebacker, a three-technique defensive tackle, and more offensive line talent. Here's a linebacker to replace Luke Kuechly.

Parsons collected 109 tackles, five sacks, four forced fumbles and five passes defended in 2019. He was always around the ball and produced some splash plays for Penn State. Parsons broke into the starting lineup as a true freshman in 2018 and showed that he has lot of upside to develop into an intriguing player. On the year, he totaled 83 tackles with five for a loss, 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

Parsons (6-3, 245) has good size, speed and quality instincts. Prior to the Big Ten canceling and then restarting its season, Parsons decided not to play in 2020. Team sources say that while Parsons is not a criminal, he is being dinged over lesser character in their reports.

The most likely pick at 8th is Trey Lance imo. When a team knows it doesn't have its franchise QB the top priority is obtaining one when possible, and we're in position to possibly do so now. Wilson is going to come off the board too quickly for us to have a chance, and the trading up thing is wishful thinking. The reality is that we have a good chance at drafting Lance at 8th, and he's a better physical specimen than Wilson anyway imo.

These other positions like LB, TE, ect, can be obtained in the 2nd or later rounds. Lesser important positions should not be filled with 1st round draft picks if you want to win.

No way that happens.  No way.  Both the lions and atl are not drafting a qb.

Let’s hope that Fields doesn’t have another game in the National Championship game like how he did vs Clemson. If he does, we can say goodbye to Fields unless we are able to trade up to 3.

hopefully bama destroys him throwing 5 tds
