My feeling isn’t as much in regards to us signing or not signing him, as much as I just wish people weren’t so harsh on him and so openly rooting for him to be out of the league, my reply is more in response to comments I see on not only our board, but other platforms as well. The only thing I would say is that yes, I believe people would be reacting this way about trubisky in regards to signing him however he wouldn’t  be as controversial I think, granted some of it is just panic because of how badly people want to draft a top prospect, and they feel signing someone threatens that, I just feel bad for Haskins.

I’d be open to trubisky coming here. He has proven that he can play the position in this league.

I agree, I’m not fond of Matt Nagy as a head coach, his player development leaves much to be desired, and one could argue away from Andy read his offense is below average.

Most teams have 4 or 5 QBs in camp.  What is the difference if we give him the opportunity instead of a QB from Podunk University that has little or no chance of making the roster.

So he's number 4.  If he fights and learns and shows he's matured some.  He's our #3 QB.  I don't see how anyone can be against it.  You have a former first round pick competing for the #3 or possibly the #2 QB.

I trust our staff they will evaluate him equally and give the spot to the most deserving not to oth player that has the most notoriety.

So when the Huddle (a few here) likes a player with character concerns, the locker room is not a big issue.  But if we don't like the player, the locker room is an issue.  Only thinking of a few here, but it is funny.

People always used to say we could handle Bad Boy Player because our locker room was strong. My response was always to point out that our avoidance of Bad Boy Player was a big reason why our locker room was strong.

I stated this back on the very first thread and got poop'd on, its bizarre thinking a 23 year old QB less than two years removed form draft day. Where he was picked 15th and many "experts" called that a steal and he was firmly in many experts top 10.

No risk, no money, and STILL people poop on this this?? Huddle gone insane with their high horse standards.

AKA 'This guy can't be that bad....right?' visit.

If you want to meet him and get an autograph I think you have a great chance at a strip club. My guess would be the one nearest to the Stadium if the reports have been true.

Heck Cam lived at the strip club.  Most nfl players do.  Other than this one incident, which would be a non incident if not for a pandemic, there’d be no off field issue.

Newton was good.

If Haskins were anywhere near that good, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
