I can't see Atlanta taking Lance over the local guy.  Even though I like Lance over Fields personally, many don't feel the same way and think of how pissed the Falcons fans would be taking a small-school FCS guy from Minnesota over the kid literally from their back yard.  Fields would have to look HORRIBLE at his Pro day for that to happen or Lance look flawless in his.

If we could get Sewell and trade for Stafford without having to give up too much we could be a locked in playoff team next year.

This was my point as well.

If we can't get DW, or Wilson/Fields...then Sewell and Stafford, plus a tag on Moton, and we could be a pretty decent team next season.

If the top 4 QBs are gone, Sewell is a great back up plan. Extend Moton and we should be set at OT for a while...

Agreed. It would be awesome if it fell that way but I can’t see Dolphins or the Bengals passing on Sewell. Same for the Jets if they stick with Darnold.

Heard he’s been dropping because of a few factors. Without an actual combine things might get weird with certain players but I’m higher on Rashawn Slater honestly

So why are you higher on Slater?  I would be fine with either one but I am just curious as to your line of thought.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
