People give Mitch a hard time but he would be a definite upgrade over Teddy and people underestimate what he can do with his legs.

I agree with this. If we could get him on a cheap 1 year deal, how is he not an upgrade over the guys we have now? At worst, he is an instant upgrade for our #2 QB.

Well so far Rhule brought in Teddy, then was interested in Haskins....not a great track record so far.

We have a new GM that just said we’ll be a part of every deal, so this isn’t the least bit surprising. He’d make a decent backup, so why not hear out offers.

I like that we’re going to be more involved throughout the league. It means we’re starting conversations and making new connections.

Who's fault Teddy was depends on who you want to blame and not on a single shred of knowledge of the decision.

 It would be convenient, but I think its unlikely that Rhule had no say in the issue.

Trubisky is a superstar in the making. Needs a change of scenery with competent coaching and a strong supporting cast. Would excel here and have us in a Super Bowl with in two years.

Trubisky is one of the few qbs who's throws statistically shorter passes than Bridgewater. Not too exciting.
