Mac Jones Draft Stock

Hes going on a Daniel Jones type of arc. A team carolina(giants) likes him(not idea why) and doesnt want to risk trading back into the teens to pick him. So the growing idea is to take him at #8(GROSS!!) and not risk the trade back.

I can get on the Mac Jones train but not at #8.  Carolina will need to trade down and get extra picks to build an oline because Jones has no mobility, hes not going to evade many sacks.

Not worried.  I have been assured by the Huddle that ALL 14 QB's will be gone by pick 8.

I’d take him at #2 only person I’d take over Mac jones is Lawrence

Matt Rhule's QB comment earlier in the year:

I think you want someone who’s a tremendous leader,” Rhule said, via Alaina Getzenberg of the Charlotte Observer. “I think you want someone who’s accurate. I think you want someone who has arm talent to make all the throws. And I think you want someone who has a history of making plays in crucial situations, that’s just very urgent.”

Matt Rhule quote related to Jones:

I think it notable that the Jones related quote does not mention Jones' arm talent. The reason is that the arm talent does not justify the #8 pick. We already have a QB with limited arm talent.
