It's difficult for me to believe that the team is telegraphing their intentions in the draft through the media.  Granted going after Stafford was a shot across the bow for Teddy but to put it out there you are looking to trade up is just dumb on so many levels.

That’s not what he said. The new “news” is they’re reporting the Jets aren’t at the top of the list at there are more teams he’d be willing to go to. None of this has really changed anything.

I saw that as well. They have predicted some things in the past and I think they have said stuff before Rapsheet has. It’s gna be a long offseason and I’m afraid stuff like this will happen until the first game.
