Once he gets traded somewhere else or the unlikely scenario that he stays with the Texans.

I think we can be in the running but this situation is so insanely wild I am just sort of enjoying the ride.

We've got a few folks on here who seem like they're so dedicated to this idea that if he does get traded somewhere else, they're gonna start coming up with trade scenarios to pry him away from his new team.

Now!! Get back to reality!! questions to be answered!! Is there a QB in the draft we really want!?? Personally... I don’t like any after Trevor!! Reaching.. Wilson is like Clausen I feel!! Trey a project so what’s the rush to get him!??? Darn old might be the better prospect even though I hate saying that..

Recap:

1. Texans contract w/ DW is ironclad, he's locked up thru 2025.

2. There is no scenario where Texans are better off without DW.

3. Texans have no obligation to trade DW.

4. Texans won't trade DW.

5. DW does not have the stones to walk from $146,540,000.

The End.

Is that what the Appaloosa Model told you in a vision?

That perfectly describes my thinking.

There is no breaking point because there is no expectation on my part.

Yeah, I wouldn't call it a dream, just one of many options this offseason.

Mind you, potentially a great option if we didn't have to give away too much, but also an unlikely one.

    • He's not going to get fired, if anything happens and it's mostly a certainity at this point, he will be allowed to resign or move into a different role with the program.
    • Don't think it hurts that much. IMO, not much of a dropoff from somebody like Gipson compared to Rozeboom. Regardless, I still think we are looking at an ILB in the first 3 rounds. There are quite a few interesting prospects between Rodriguez, Golday, and Hill Jr. that would be good 2nd round picks if they make it to us (Rodriguez might be a stretch since it seems like teams are falling in love with him). Kyle Louis and Lawson are worth a look also in the 3rd
    • I think that is the first goal of pretty much every team. No one seeks to make it in via WC, in August anyway. You take what you can get, but you always set out to win your division.  People look around at their division foes and say okay we can probably expect strong rushing attacks. So we’ll need a stout run D. Mandatory. Etc. We drafted TD basically to spy on Vick. We could do nothing with him up until then. It kind of helped but they were still putting it on us too often for a while. You have to match up to your division.
