This has already been brought up on twitter and Joe Person replied with a simple "no"

so if he's willing to be that definitive I guess there was more going on with him than we knew.

I think what we knew (specifically that he was underperforming) is enough, no hidden details necessary.

And yeah, I guess you could say we "won" this trade but the prize for winning was comparable to one of those cheap plastic trophies you can buy at a novelty store.

A win is a win, no matter how ugly or plastic.

Norwell's entire thing was he was a surprisingly athletic pulling guard that worked great when the panthers were running their single wing variant.

they're not doing that anymore and Norwell has failed all over the field in jacksonville

I know jeremy loved the idea of norwell playing tackle but as well know he likes to get a little overexcited for some players

    • Yeah, I hope you are right too. Would love nothing more than to be wrong. I think if you look at the past decade or so of drafting and free agency, the Texans have done significantly better. Doesn't mean they are significantly better as a franchise necessarily but they are definitely way ahead of where we are in 2024.
    • The Necas trade is going to be interesting because of how much the Canes want back in a trade for him.
