Jeremy Fowler: still a chance Panthers are able to re-sign Curtis Samuel

yeah I agree some team is going to give him a huge deal in the next few days.

IDK. So hard to know what the market is going to look like. If it is anything like the normal free agency period, if he doesn't get signed in the first week or so, he probably isn't going to get a big deal.

Samuel is going to get paid period. Also he's not our star player either so that's why you get a good GM who can draft another guy to replace him. CMC, Moore, and Anderson is still a pretty formidable group to say the least and I for one would love to keep Moore and Anderson. Hopefully we get a TE to add an extra layer to that group of great WRs.

We're hearing most of the top receivers -- Kenny Golladay, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Corey Davis -- will test free agency, but a few have a chance to re-sign with their respective teams: Nelson Agholor with Las Vegas and Curtis Samuel with Carolina.

With DJ Moore and Robby Anderson hitting free agency in 2022, the Panthers could look to secure more receiver help now. (If they don't keep Samuel, look out for Jacksonville, where new coach Urban Meyer knows him from their Ohio State days.)
