Yes but also obvious that these women provide those additional services but now looking to cash in

Right - I'm sure the arrangement was understood by both parties beforehand.  Why would someone like Watson fly some chick off of Instagram out to Houston or whatever just to get a massage?  Everybody knows what the true purpose of that trip is....

Its looking more and more than Watson was not hiring these women to really give him a massage.  I mean, yeah thats the pretext for getting them to come out, but its likely understood that it is going to be a sexual transaction.  Im guessing all of these women are all young and extremely hot....

Right, and that’s why I think these accusations prob have legs.

Why was he seeing 9 different female massage therapists over the course of a year or so?

Some weren’t even licensed.

But I bet they were all attractive.

The simplest explanation is usually right.

First of all, you completely missed the point of my post, but go off.

No I got your point fine. As always you are trying to interject race into the discussion.

You do it in every single thread you post in.

A lot of musicians make women sign NDAs. A porn star put Drake's DMs to her on blast. Casual sex is a different game at that level. These guys can get it on command, but the tradeoff is that they're being used for clout themselves. It's a business transaction for both parties.

Deshaun put himself in a bad spot and he's paying for it now.

Whatever.

You quote me not even knowing what you're talking about and now you're trying to bring up a different issue to deflect.

Kick rocks.

Fact. Fair ain't got nothing to do with it. If you are rich and famous you better act and proceed diffently than some random person.

Number of lawsuits is now apparently seven, no update on the number of accusers.

On top of what's already been alleged, the latest suits include charges that Watson exposed himself, kissed women against their will, touched women with his penis and tried to force them to touch him there as well.

He flew random women in from different places and met them in hotels.  That is incredibly telling about his decision making.  If you dont see that and play the "younger generation" angle then thats on you man

I'm not saying it was a good idea, and I'm not saying it was "just" for a massage either. What I am saying is that it doesn't equate to him being some kind of monster or rapist either.

And also, if you think he's the only NFL star doing this you're crazy. Most young professional athletes with any profile engage in similar behavior; is this supposed to mean that he's unfit to play in the league now? Or is he just unfit to play for the Panthers now because you're undoubtedly one of the folks who have been against the idea of a big trade?

If he is guilty of actual assault or worse then I don't want to ever see him play again and I certainly don't want him on the Panthers at ANY cost. But to say he's somehow unfit to play because he hooks up with women he meets on Instagram is just dumb.

I would say if I'm the agent for a young NFL player (or any sports league honestly) and I suspect my client has set up private massage sessions, I'd tell them stop that sh-t right now.

And if they haven't, tell them to not even think about it.

    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
    • I mean, our TE room does suck but we had other pressing needs and no surefire upgrades in the draft. I was surprised at how many TEs went in the first three rounds. I think most everyone was. You want a guy who projects at least as a guy who has the potential ceiling to be a starter in those rounds and I didn't see 11 of those in this draft. Off the top of my head, I think that's how many TEs went in the first three rounds. It was in that range. That's roughly 10% of the overall picks. Definitely did NOT see that coming with this TE class.
