Rape can occur without verbally saying no.  I don't know the details and I'm not accusing Watson of rape, but what I read said he used language about making or breaking her career to coerce her into it.

This may still become a criminal complaint too.

Her career is done in that regard either way. What does she think he meant by a statement like that? If she did it because she felt it would help her career, that’s not rape or sexual assault. That’s buyers remorse. Women have to be held to a higher standard in these situations. They have to be held accountable the same way as we hold men accountable. That’s the whole damn problem with this me too movement. Did we say Bill Clinton sexually assaulted Monica? Plenty of women out here fuging their way to the top and if that’s their thing then so be it, but you can’t turn around and call foul when you agreed to something you thought would help you and didn’t.

Put your name on it. Say he raped her. That’s what we’re talking about here. fug this sexual assault bs. What y’all and these women are accusing him of is rape. Let’s call it what it is. And if he raped anyone he should face criminal charges. Is he? Will he? If his name wasn’t Deshaun Watson is there a civil case?

Goddamn dude

Serious question. What are the odds of locking this thing up unless some real facts and information come out? People are speaking out against possible victims while knowing little information themselves. It seems to belong in Tinderbox or locked up. Once these cases become more clear maybe we can have an adult conversation without blaming potential victims or an innocent man depending on which way it goes...

One woman is accusing him of sexual assault, the others are not, from what I understand.

I think the language of the lawsuits puts it all under the term "sexual assault" but only one of them so far indicates an actual sex act (forced oral sex).

The other allegations mostly involve exposing himself, unwanted touching, a forced kiss and attempts to force women to touch his penis.

Aaron Wilson with an update. Teams are still interested conditional on his being exonerated, but they (wisely) want to see how this case turns out before proceeding.

Excerpt from the article...

The Eagles are among those teams along with the Panthers, Jets, Dolphins, 49ers and Broncos, according to sources.

It is because they could potentially get him at a huge discount. This exactly what I have suggested would happen all along. In every scenario the Texans lose the amount of leverage that they had.

Since people like conspiracy theories imagine this, what Watson were traded and all of the complaints went away(dropped or settled) Now, as some may say, that would then be super sketchy!

I am also not suggesting that this would happen.

You really don't see a problem with anything you just said? Sheesh. It's smacking you right in the face and you can't even see it.

There's a difference between two parties of equal power agreeing to something, and someone of greater power effectively threatening someone else to do what they want. The later is the accusation here.  When that threat involves sex...

Regarding Bill and Monica, there's weird power dynamics at work there and I don't know enough of the details there.  However, if Bill had told her that he would make or break her career prior to or as part of them hooking up, that's coercion and assault yeah.

Women already have an extremely difficult time with sexual assault cases as it is.

You really think it should be tougher?

No, he is kicked out of the sessions immediately if they do not offer what he is asking for and blacklisted throughout. He moved in a way that his penis would touch me, he would not cover himself, if he is not following the rules why are you even engaging with him?

I think the sketchiest thing would be if Deshaun Watson suddenly changed his tune and decided he wanted to play for the Texans again. Would make me thing that old daddy Bob McNair "made this all go away" in a weird blackmail situation. Ultimately I do not think the Texans want to trade Watson, there's obvious bad blood that goes really deep, and we don't know even 90% of the details.

I thought the others were harassment.  I didn't look at the language used though.

If he faces a legitimate sexual assault case then he should never play football again. I don’t think that’s what this is. Seems too opportunistic.

The only think we know for sure is that Deshaun apparently likes happy endings. I could be wrong but I doubt Deshaun is soliciting sex from masseuses via Instagram. My hunch is that he had some prior information that he could receive a happy ending from some of these women. That poo works on a referral basis.
