Go on record. Who still wants Watson?

Pretty simple.

If you are sexually assaulted you need to report it to police right away if you care about or want to maximize the chance of getting justice.

If you wait it's going to be much harder to prove and people will be less likely to believe you.

And please don't first file civil suits. Looks like a money grab. Go to police first. Then you can go the civil route.

But regardless, this isn't complicated

The accuser shouldn't be initially deemed a liar

The accused shouldn't be initially deemed guilty.

Let the judicial system run it's course first. Let the evidence come forward.

Innocent until proven guilty.

Case in point as to why people don’t come forward. In an ideal society people would come forward. It’s not an ideal society. There are tons of reasons why victims don’t come forward.

Your last part is correct. Let the system run its course. Also, don’t trade for the guy until it does. It would be stupid to trade for him at this point. The Panthers know this and that’s why this ain’t going to happen anytime soon.

Hollywood isn't the NFL.

And isn't he a CONVICTED sex offender?

Apples to oranges.

Harvey Weinstein also had about a dozen accusations before he was ever charged. The barometer isn’t whether he is charged with a crime. It’s whether he did what is accused.

That’s ok, my ex wife says I am wrong all of the time. Watson clearly has issues, but the shear number of complaints points to character assignation. I ask you Mr. Scot, if Watson never wanted to leave Houston, would we be having this conversation?

I wouldn't be surprised if this is retribution by Texas oil / big business, lifting the veil of anonymity on Watson's actions.

It doesn't mean the charges are false though.

At this point, Florio may be right: Watson should consider settling! I know some guys would still balk at the Panthers trading for him in the event that that happened, but I'd consider it (even if I wouldn't exactly jump at the chance).

Watson would surely be a choir boy from then on...right? If not, he better step down in class of services!

If he settles with these people out of court and doesn't receive a suspension I'd offer the Texans our 2022 first round pick and immediately hire a round-the-clock rub-n-tug specialist for our new sexual deviant starting QB.

Honestly, I wouldn't care about a suspension unless it was like two years or something. It's just something that naturally decreases the cost for his services. Now, a ban... that's entirely different! Any deal I'd make would be contingent upon him playing in 2022.

I know some people don't want to hear it, but he may be one helluva bargain once this is behind him. I don't see how the Texans could ask for the farm at this point, and he better feel lucky if he still has a job.

Tell that to all the Americans who had the choice of voting between two old farts who were both accused of sexual deviance! I think BOTH were guilty of that (and probably more inside or outside of a sexual nature). The bar of criminality is obviously the litmus test. We don't exist in a fantasy world!

Regardless of the reasons, they should do it immediately.

Panthers don't have the assets or it would be insanely high to trade for Watson.

We were never really a contender for his services.

If I am a team and I am getting a good deal to trade for Watson now, I am taking it.

As mention at worst he is suspended for some games or 1 season.

Which I doubt since it's not even criminal.

Unless there is video or audio of the crime happening or confirmed messages of DW admitting it, we will never know if he did it or not.

Simply being convicted of a crime doesn't mean you did.

Simply being found not guilty of a crime doesn't mean you didn't do it.
