Not exactly.  Lance is the one that had to sit a year.  We picked up Darnold's 5th year.  If Darnold sucks this year, we at lest gave him a shot and can explore options, but most importantly it will give Lance the season to sit he needs.

Brother until an hour ago I was on your train but now that ship has sailed.  We are riding and dying with Darnold.  We are not drafting a qb at 8

This would be a mistake.  The only way to restructure the contract would be to push some of the money onto future years of the cap.  We want Teddy off the books as soon as possible.

To be fair, a Kia Sorrento is a high quality automobile, and comes for a fraction of the cost and maintenance associated with a Rolls Royce.

I like Lance a lot, but I also can see the major major flaws in his game and the out right risk we would be taking in selecting him
