I watched a lot of his tape last night--he catches instead of attacks a lot.  Maybe they can fix it.  He needs to start within a year, and we all know that would give him 6-7 years as an effective OL.  Yes, moving inside is possible.  I still hope we draft Forsythe, Hudson, or maybe even Smith from ECU.  Ball is another idea.  Doyle for Mof Ohio--we still have options.

Christensen is not going to be a world beater, but I am not confident that LT is fixed.

Hudson is unathletic AF if i remember correctly.

Doyle or Forsythe would be the best options.

I saw Brady play in HS.  A rare athlete who excelled in Baseball, Basketball, and Football. I saw him steal a ball in HS, beat gaurds down the floor and dunk it so hard the basket shook for 30 seconds.  He is an athlete, who can protect Sam.  Great work ethic, team first, kind of man. He will love Charlotte, and they will love him. He is a first team All-American and a steal in the third round.

I also wouldn't rule out Okung coming back.

The issue with Okung is how many game we would get out of him if we do bring him back.  When he's on the field, he's fine.  But he has played 13 games over the last two seasons.  Unfortunately, he forces us to have depth whether we want it or not.

And for whatever reason, this team does not seem to want depth at LT.  I sometimes wonder if their solution is to just not have a LT.

They have just made poor choices at LT. But I think if Sewell had been there at 8, he’d have been the pick.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
