60 % of this years NFL rosters are made of 4th rounders and later.

Yeah, but 4th rounders over a decade of picks.

I think our fans don’t understand basic math.

Well, I can tell you that someone doesn't understand basic math, but it's probably not who you're thinking it is.......

You ever wonder why all teams don’t just trade back four times?

Teams like the Seahawks and Patriots who have been in the playoffs more times then us.. Who trade down all the time..

Yeah that's a dumb strategy..

Most of these guys are special teamers and backups to the backups(I.e. practice squad). It is quite possible that none of the guys are on the active roster.

Just like it possible you trade up for a player who can't make it on Field but you're still paying him more money then the 3 players you might get trading down and taking more swings..

I honestly didn't like his instincts when I watched his cut-ups. Athletic, but looked lost at times.

Yeah. I'm not gonna get worked up about it.  I just liked his value in the 4th because of his athleticism.  And we could use a good coverage LB.

    • Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.
    • This will also be prime Training Camp meltdown time on here lol. Preseason game 1 August 8th, i'm guessing camp starts around July 25-27th
