Cunningham's bio from the Eagles website...

Prior to joining the Eagles staff, Cunningham spent the first nine years of his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens. In Baltimore, Cunningham worked with Eagles vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl, as well as former Eagles vice president of player personnel and current New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas. Cunningham joined the Ravens as a player personnel assistant in 2008 and was promoted to southeast area scout in 2013. In his final four seasons with the Ravens, Cunningham was primarily responsible for scouting schools in the Southeastern Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference.

Cunningham earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia in 2017 and went on to earn a master's education in 2008.

A former offensive lineman, he started 20 games for the Cavaliers during his collegiate football career and earned honorable mention freshman All-American honors from Rivals.com and ACC All-Freshman Team recognition from The Sporting News.

A standout offensive and defensive lineman at Hebron High School in Carrollton, TX, Cunningham earned numerous all-state and all-area honors as a senior.

Give me Dan Morgan, please.

God, I loved that guy as a player. Absolute wrecking ball of a LB. That's pretty much what prematurely ended his career too, but like a wild brawling fighter with no pretense of defensive responsibility, you know it's not gonna last but sure is fun to watch for as long as it does.

The majority of Cunningham's experience has been with the Ravens. That's a plus.

The Eagles made him their Director of College Scouting in 2017. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Player Personnel two years later.

All that said, I'd be shocked out of my socks if the job went to anybody but Morgan. He and Fitterer have too much history. Morgan considers him a friend and a mentor.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
