Not really football related. But we used to have a full length mirror right in front of the toilet. The damm image kept getting older and older. I finally had to get rid of it, cuz I didn't want to deal with the old guy staring at me any longer. lol

I knew there was something about my bathroom layout that I didn't like.

I was there many, many, many, many moons ago.  The two guys you were referring to were Colin and Magnus...and yes they would run PAGES bitching back and forth.  I'm really dating myself here, but their bitchfest actually began at the Charlotte Observer Panthers forum.  Yes, that was actually a thing WAY back when. 

Honestly this is my 3rd incarnation here because this place can get out of control at times too and I get ghost for months at a time and even took years off before I finally came back this time.  I lurked for a while and saw it had cleaned up (for the most part) and decided to register again.

The place gets out of control due to a number of special needs trolls from the tinder box and their rivals who must make it a constant verbal political cage match on the forums here. For some reason these tools think anything they argue about on a Panthers message board will actually make a difference in the world and instead of ACTUALLY going out and doing something to support their opinions like get involved in their communities to take action and make a difference the whiny punks just come here to go on drunken rants so they can pretend they are woke. I think that's the basic political philosophy of some of the idiots on both side of the spectrum these days isn't it?

      I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.

      When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
