Honestly, any situation where Brady Christensen starts for us - even at guard - is nothing but a win.  It would mean the draft has yielded at least three starting caliber players from three different rounds.  That's the sort of drafting that builds a franchise from inconsistent to perennial winner.

Well, that is a post season discussion more than a preseason discussion. Sometimes starting a rookie isn't necessarily a good thing. On our OL, starting may not mean that much.

I think Horn, Marshall, and Tremble are already showing themselves to be starters, or at least players who will have situational roles in the case of the latter 2. BC starting, and playing well, anywhere on the line is certainly a win, and would make four!

I always try  to beat a dead horse, but Moton at LT and Christensen at RT sure solves a lotta problems.

It doesn’t solve anything If they aren’t good at it.

As good as Moton is at RT we want to believe he will be that great at LT but that isn’t always true, and to be honest his sample size over there is rather limited.

Speaking of sample size, thinking BC solves anything at RT is nothing more than wishful thinking at this point.  He is a rookie who never played in an NFL game and only has a few snaps in practice under his belt.  History tells us most OTs struggle their first year in the NFL, for him to be anything better than average would be an exception.

Pretty much the only player we know for sure can play above average at their position based on recent history is Moton at RT, anything list that is hoping.

I believe his assumption was they both won the job and are playing well. It would solve our tackle issues for years to come.

    • Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.
    • Currently Cam and Bryce have the exact same career completion percentage at 59.9. The differences in their play/career arcs are immense, however.
    • LOL we have been talking about fixing Bryce Youngs footwork for almost 3 years now.if his footwork has shown little to no improvement in that amount of time then you might have to come to the realization while at the same time using a little common sense it's not natural to Bryce Young with his small stature/ size to step up in the pocket plant his feet & drive the ball from the back leg to the front leg while remaining stable.no instead you see BY becoming easily overly excited & then as a result starts alot of unessary scrambling & hopping around & maybe it's not necassirly he is scared all the time & it has more to do with his height & he is trying to find the right angles for visual purposes whatever it is he  puts himself in a position where he cannot stay balanced when he throws the ball & anytime you throw the ball unbalanced it not only effects your power but it also effects your accuracy/ timing point being the real problem with Bryce Youngs bad footwork is his small size ...just saying
