QB Controversy

I realize most will scoff at the idea but I cannot see a reason why signing Josh Rosen isn't better than what we have right now.  Strictly as a backup but he will be dirt cheap and has more talent than Grier or PJ.  I have no idea of his mental state or if he even really wants to play football but just an idea

His mental state is why this is a bad idea.

Rosen thinks he's way better than he really is and acts like an entitled brat.

I mean I don’t like the guy much either but we should be looking at other options IMO

I imagine once the cuts are made we pick up a vet.  No sense in carrying Grier or PJ at this point.  Seems to me we are locked into SD for the next 2 years for better or worse so I think a seasoned vet in the room is way more valuable than a project 3rd rounder or a former xfl player

In my opinion quality backup qbs only matter if your a contender. For bottom dwellers it doesn't really make that big of a difference.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
