The Panthers locked up one of Sam Darnold’s offensive-line protectors over the summer and are on the verge of keeping one of his favorite targets around a while, as well.

The team is deep in talks on a multiyear extension for wide receiver Robby Anderson and could finalize the deal in the next several days, a league source told The Athletic.

I really hope we resign DJ first.. After next year Robbie may be expendable

article says this does not preclude us signing DJ.  I'm guess it fits in with Terrace's rookie deal, which is doable and fuggin smart.  3 WR at starter level for 4 more years.  Hope it's true.

I agree..having all 3 is a plus.. but from the glimpse I seen we'll have about 24 mil entering next season.. I can imagine it's going to cost us around 16 or more for DJ alone..extending burns should be next up and I can see that being in the same range.. I can't see spending 10 -12 mill a yr on Robbie when we still don't have a left tackle, franchise qb, and the 1 of the highest paid rbs in the league.. I could go on with 2nd cb if we don't resign Donte

People forget how good we will be in cap after this year. If you extend him now and structure it right, we will have plenty of cap space for our young stars coming up in the future. I am extremely confident that we have sons one who is great managing the cap now along with a competent GM. We have been scared by Hurndog for too long and I believe it’s going to be refreshing to see what they do with our core in the future

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
