For a player of similar ability and a more cap friendly contract?  Addition by subtraction.

Does he have similar ability though? He hasn't taken a single regular season snap in the NFL yet. Plenty of highly drafted players expected to be future All-Pros bust or underperform. Moton is a proven commodity.

Considering these two actors wound up married, I wonder how Kit Harrington feels about hearing that line for literally THE REST OF HIS LIFE.  Cause we all know it's a given.

I saw her naked. She can say whatever she wants, as long as it occasionally is "Come here".

Crossing posts.  Wasn’t referring to Moton.  I wouldn’t touch him.  He’s the only bright light on a weak online.

My first thought experiment (or brain fart) was Shaq even up for a starting OL or LB, if we could get out of his contract with little to no dead money.  Kungfoodude politely squashed that idea.

I later refined that idea in another later post by offering the theoretical trade of DJ for a high quality OL or LB.  We’re stacked at WR and to get value, you have to give value.  Marshall may have made both Moore’s expendable.  It’s a BIG reach but since we are all blue skying possible trade scenarios, I was trying to find the most out of consensus but still marginally realistic trade without giving up any of next year draft picks.

Yeah, but why in the world would anyone make that trade? Bill O'Brien is gone. The only one I can think that might be that dumb is Urban Meyer.

I hear you.  Not high probability but with Urban, Marty (and Ron’s love for his veterans) and the dumpster fire in Houston, who the hell knows?

I would try to trade Ian Thomas. Heck he is better than Herndon and the Vikings traded for that guy. Got to think we could get a 6th.

Herndon - 71 receptions, 796 yards, 7 TDs (he missed a year with injury)

Thomas - 72 receptions, 614 yards, 4 TDs.

So no, no he isn't. That's a very crafty trade by the Vikings.

Remember, Houston has that Nick Caserio dude from NE now. They might be one of the more difficult teams to make a deal with. Look at the Watson situation.

Washington....eh....maybe. I don't think they need a LB like Shaq, though.

    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
