Joe Brady is a concern.

He wasn't the regular play caller, that was the point.

I hear you. You wrote that he didn't call plays. I was just pointing out he absolutely did. Somebody pie'd your comment and might think he actually didn't call any plays. I just want people to have accurate information when they are bashing our players/coaches/staff/ownership.

"And remember, Brady didn’t even call most of LSU’s plays this year. He called a lot of the red-zone plays, and he called some from the “empty” backfield sets and “compact” (bunched) formations that LSU ran (which meant he called several of the TD plays Monday)."

That's even worse IMO. If you can't adjust your Redzone percentages from year one to two and that's what you were known for its not good.

No problem.  He has a ways to go to be called a guru.

Not concerned. It looked like we decided to coast in the second half until things got tight again.

This often leads to lackluster plays and no hi light reel moments so that equates to the team sucking for most message boards.  I think you need a bit more aggressiveness to put the game away and hopefully they learn from that.  Overall I think you kept your QB clean and won despite missing some scoring opportunities.

We invested a good bit in offense. Teddy,Darnald ,Kept Moton, drafted Marshall Jr, Shi Smith,Tremble,Brown,Christensen. I mean its only been two years but outside of LT and LG we have a good unit on offense. Our Defense on the other hand lost a terrible amount of players and has been coached well and we have drafted well too.

I’m talking foundation of the O.  The starting OL and QB.

if you look at the foundation of the O.  The combo of the starting OL/QB combo….it’s one of the weaker foundations in the NFL.

Foundation of the D is the DL.  Which isn’t weak.   And that makes our D promising.   We had Burns.  We spent a first rounder on Brown.  We brought in legit FAs around them.  It’s a good front.   We literally spent the entire first draft Snow was here on D.    Top of the second draft on D.   FAs have been solid and focused on that foundation.

NFL is a talent driven league.  If you suck at something, it’s generally because your talent is weak IMO.  We have very weak OL combined with a weak QB.  Faith in him improving isn’t really relevant IMO to present conversation.   On O, we added depth and skill position guys in the draft (presently that is.  Developmental on the OL).

Agreed, I wanted to put them away at the start of the second half.

CMac didn’t carry the team on his back like 2018.

21 carries and 9 receptions he led in both. We actually didn't give a single carry to another rb. And we still only beat the Jets by 5. To say our playcalling could use some versatility is not whining it's common sense. If the goal is to improve on 3rd place in our division then we should expect more in the following weeks.

Darnold threw for almost 300 yards and didn’t turn it over in the air. We didn’t hand it off to a fullback on 4th down. The ball was pushed downfield throughout the game. The TEs got some love today. CMac didn’t carry the team on his back like 2018.

I guess some people are going to complain no matter what.

I feel like CMC carried the team offensively. robby made a huge play too.

I'm not going to argue with you but the the fact is even in the draft we picked WR over LT. Coaching once again made that choice. I think Brady thinks he can scheme around a bad line. I think he can't.

Joe Brady isn’t making the calls in the draft.

Rhule and Snow have been together for a long time.  And they made their name and way to the NFL….playing defense with pedestrian offense in college.
