Post Jets Game - Biggest areas of concern

The Panthers were able to squeek out a win against a very bad team.

As such, give me your TOP TWO areas of concern

For me ....

Red zone play calling. Still far too many opportunities wasted.

KIcking. Already a missed xp. That will end up losing us games eventually.

Zod, if we cut our kicker before week two we get the draft pick back correct?

Offensive line, Joe Brady.

Elf was the only one that stood out as really bad. I’ll second you on Brady and Rhule’s game management was a disappointing as well. It’s hard to beat anyone in the NFL and sitting on leads can backfire easily.

You saw Paradis get walked back into Darnold for the sack, right?

When he is on a Roll he's not bad but it was sad to see him running the same plays that worked in the 1st half when it was clear NYJ made adjustments.

A good OC will figure out what adjustments were made and call different plays.

O-line was shaky but only gave up one sack against a pretty good front 4.  I agree that it is still our biggest concern.

    • That zone was so soft that 3 guys were bearly on the screen. No rushing called. Playing off the line 10+ yards. Yeah that's garbage time. It took an onsides kick to make them try to play D again. Until then they didn't care and still wouldn't play real D against Young until they absolutely had to and that was with backups in the backfield. Slow start is freaking hilarious. He was gifted the lowest effort a bad team can give and still couldn't put anything together for 1 freaking series at the end after 2 quarters of warmup ball. It was like watching someone stretching for an hour and then pull a hammy after 10 feet of running.
    • On the subject of Reich and him being no good as a coach, because he wouldn’t change everything he did to accommodate Young. He wanted to sit Young. He knew what Young was.  But to the point, was Andrew Luck a good QB under Reich in Indy? Most people don’t hesitate to say yes. Well, Luck thought enough of his coaching to bring him to Stanford.  There is a bona fide NFL QB that seems to dispute the painting of Reich as a incompetent and the reason for Young’s shortcomings.  Yes he got fired. It appears as if Tepper and Fitterer forced a QB he did not want on him and poisoned the well right from the start. I don’t blame Reich one bit for being pissed either.  And I wasn’t a Reich guy I wanted Wilks. I accepted the Reich hire but never lobbied for him.  Just saying he is being dogged here unfairly.
    • I think its a mix of both. Bryce being too small and offense is too vanilla. Plays arent creative enough. Most are slants, fades and runs. But even Baker and Sam had to deal with vanilla offense and looked horrid. Thats why I say it's a mix of both.
