they have talked about his feet constantly... almost every conversation. Stating he needed to settle down. Brady said it, Rhule said it, Sean Ryan said it, and Steve Smith said it.

Smitty spoke the truth on Darnold's play in the preseason. On TV, you saw nice short to medium completions but he was pointing out open guys deep and pointing out problems with ball placement on certain passes. We saw some of those same things yesterday.

I liked his poise. I didn't see panic from him which is great. But there's still considerable work to be done.

Why the fug would you go away from a guy that's picking up 7+ yards everytime he touches the ball?!

We don't really need it. Sam stuck the ball into the FB's shoulder before he cleared.

At some point, these guys might get tired of getting thrown under the bus covering for Darnold. The receivers were the problem all during camp and the joint practices. I don't think I've heard a single critical peep about Darnold from anyone in the organization.

Oh boy they sure look sick of him and his coddling:

Because workload management is a thing.  There's a lot of research around RBs with 400 touch seasons, and never quite being the same.  If you want CMC to last, he needs to be spelled a little more IMO.

Because he's coming off an injury plagued year and RBs have a long history of falling off a cliff at 1800 carries. We burn the CMC candle at both ends with his heavy use in the passing game. He already has over 1000 combined touches in barely over three seasons (52 games).

^Only stats that matter^

ok, was merely showing why a reporter noted Wilson's 2nd half as successful.   Considering someone else was shocked by the comment.  They played a good 2nd half.  We played a better 1st half.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
