I mean let's be honest, if you were just thrown into a dysfunctional company with terrible workers and boss, wouldn't you be mentally drained and depressed too? I've been there, it sucks the life outta you. This will be like night and day for Henderson, you get to start completely over with a nice culture and beast players around you.

This is a fleece if I've ever seen one. A journeyman TE and a 3rd for LAST YEAR'S top 10 pick (not to mention we even get a 5th back lol)?! Godamn it feels so damn good to finally have a legit GM!

Also, some of the reports saying that Carolina is getting a 5th in return along with Henderson, so it's a trade down rather than straight giving up a pick if that is accurate.

Fit with the eleventy-th trade down.  Draft over for 6 months?  Not it Charlotte biatch!  We still trading down.

And their 5th will be at the top of the round while our 3rd will hopefully be towards the bottom.

I point this out each time, but those LB rankings include Pass rushing LBers like Watt, Mack, and Vonn Miller, AKA 3-4 LBers. Completely different skill positions.

Removing those LBers, he is around 7-10 for 4-3 LBers

and Shaq is paid accordingly... it would be an issue if he was paid more than those players...

Though I read it as Arnold plus a pick from us.

If we got a pick then I retract that. I was liking Arnold though.

Wish we could pull off something on the OL to stabilize it.

We give up Arnold and a 3rd for Henderson and a 5th. That's a steal bro for a top 10 talent.

So now I understand the trade.

I don't know this guy. If we have a strong secondary for years then great. I'm just seeing draft picks dwindle or lessen.

Worth pointing out too that the Rams have barely even had a draft over the last few years and they doing good. They just bring in top talent and go from there. We seem to be doing a mix

    • Most of these negative takes on Bryce not being very good or discounting his performance because he struggled early or contributed early mistakes ignore that he is incredible resilient and keeps fighting. That is incredibly important and something Cam for example struggled with for a good portion of his early career. If he played poorly at the beginning he rarely improved. When he learned to let it go and move forward, he improved significantly. Cam is also the reason I think people discount Bryce's skills. Cam was bigger than life and had physical attributes few quarterbacks can match. He challenged folks to stop him and had some great moves like his superman poses and dabbing on everyone. He was fun to watch and an icon. Bryce is almost the polar opposite of Cam. He has to use brains over brawn and use other players to get the job done. He doesn't take over the game and is kind of boring in interviews.  But what he does have is confidence which makes others around him better. They are learning  to trust and believe in him and play hard for him. He is a good leader who has shown this season that he can produce comebacks and win at the end. How many times in the last 10 games did he bring us back only for the defense to fail to hold the lead. Even last week after scoring late did he have to do even more after the defense gave up a late TD. If you loved Cam and want his clone you won't like Bryce ever. But Cam was unique and we might not see the likes of him again. But Bryce has the ability to win in this league and return us to competitiveness in his own way.
    • How many comps even are there for him?   Brees is not.  Flutie? I struggle to get a 1 to 1.
