If Henderson, Horn and Dante work out, Chinn at SS and we add a FS, this could be a wicked secondary for the next 3-4 years until contract time. Opposing offenses are gonna be like Waffle House hash browns.

Scattered, smothered covered topped capped and diced.

I hope we get a stud FS but to be honest we probably won’t need one with the man coverage ability our CBs have. Burris is a solid option that got progressively better.

Not saying I don’t want an upgrade but it probably won’t be realistic for us to have blue chip players at every position on D.

Yep.  We need to take advantage of the unique situation of having Horn, Henderson and Chinn on rookie deals for the next few years.  This is the perfect time to extend Jackson for 3 years or so and really develop the best secondary in the NFL.

I would rather start focusing on o line than spend draft capital on a safety. Same goes with FA. We have to fix that next.

And this is only year 2 of Snow's defense.  Add another draft and free agency, 'Lawd have mercy...'

The really scary part for other team's offensive coordinators, with the few camera shots we get of Snow up in the press box during the game, he looks like he's having fun and sporting an evil grin...

    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
