Very disappointed right now.  🙁

I have no more words for what I witnessed.

Yeah the O-Line sucked per usual but Sam usually managed to work around that.

For some reason he went full 2020 NY Jets Sam today....

Some people say that it's just one game but...I had said that this game would tell us a lot about where Sam is and whether he answers questions or creates new ones.

And unfortunately, it's the latter.

Plus, the upcoming draft has QBs who are not exactly jumping off the page.

I hope TLGPanthers is happy now that he's been vindicated.   🙄

There's still hope...

We're on our way of ruining yet another quarterback. Want to get another one just to waste them as well?

How can you ruin what's already been ruined, though? 🤷‍♂️

Sam came from the Jets.

I actually think Teddy would have won that game, but I don't want Teddy here either. We need a great QB.

Of course Teddy would have won this game today, while not flashy he's a game manager and moves the chains, same thing he's doing in Denver, he did here and New Orleans.

That's all we needed today for the W was a game manager with the way the defense played. But Donald put on his not good Jake impersonation but bad Jake impersonation and gave a Eagles team that was dead in the water a reason to keep fighting by not putting the game away.

I think since we are having Jets-like OL play, we are seeing Jets-like Sam Darnold.

His ceiling is probably lower than we want but it's hard to get super upset at him when we knew he was a streaky player and didn't play well under pressure but we assembled a bottom 5 OL unit in front of him.

Underrated comment.

Watson will be traded at some point. We need to be in on the trade. We're not winning a SB with Darnold. He has looked good sometimes mostly because of CMC. Without CMC he mostly looks like Jets Darnold, and we can't rely on CMC to stay healthy.

We need a better QB. It sucks to say that and I wanted him to be the guy. Now we have enough evidence, and he's not that guy.

The first three games of the season, people were saying Darnold could be the guy. Now, after two bad ones, people are ready to jump ship. For better or worse, he's the QB until he gets injured(quite possible with the way the Oline is playing) or gets benched(highly unlikely) this season and gets to prove if he can be the guy or not. He might be the QB next season too since they picked up his option.

With the bad QB play some teams are seeing and with the subpar performances from the media darlings at the college level, if Watson clears his legal issues, the Texans are going to be asking for multiple picks and players once more. Are you prepared for the team to give all that up, plus take on Watson's contract, and probably not be able to field a good team around him?

We saw what happened with a good QB, Cam, and a subpar team around him for a decade. Let's not do that again. Keep building the team, rebuild the Oline, and then go all in on a rookie like the Chiefs did.

    • The panthers offense right now is spiritually the same as the 2010s Seahawks. They want to keep it close until the fourth quarter and then try to pull a rabbit out of their hat. instead of running marshawn into the line 30 times a game, we’re throwing 20 passes behind the line of scrimmage. And instead of Russell Wilson bullshit, we’re getting 20 yard drives to set up a 55 yard field goal. Also that team had multiple hall of famers and we’ve got the worst qb in the league by whatever collections of metrics you want to use
    • So if Bryce could have come to Carolina with the same advantages he had every year at Alabama he would have been successful. Good coaches. Top recruiting classes far better than the opposition. Defense able to bail him out if he has a bad game.  Still doesnt change anything regarding footwork, mechanics, drop backs, reading the field, poor placement or any of the other myriad of issues that are still present in year 3.  Bryce wasn't ready to be the day 1 starter. There's nothing wrong with that. Dalton was clearly the more capable QB, as evidenced by what happened in Seattle in the rain, under extreme pressure. Same players, same coach, same terrible offensive line. Two different offenses.  When you look at Bryce and what he's done in game over the course of 3 years it's not pretty. He has moments of good, but there's been a lot more WTF. But saying Bryce would have been able to lead a team to the playoffs? Based on what we saw from him, he probably would have spent a good bit of year one on the bench holding a clipboard.
    • Feels on brand for Mike Brown.  He's very anti trade.
